Job Title

Physics Systems Engineer

On the basis of his/her professional specialization, makes a substantial contribution to the innovation of product and process. Develops new products, using the latest technologies and resources, often realizing systems based on unverified specifications.

Your role:

  • Plans, oversees and executes the Systems Engineering activities in the platform, including initiation, coordination, synchronization, review and integration of the technical work.
  • Overall technical leadership and responsibility for the technical components of the platform.
  • Analyzes System Stakeholder needs and translate them into Subsystem (SSRS) or Platform requirements.
  • Technical stakeholder for all Imaging Platform aspects.
  • Leads cross-discipline feasibility and tradeoff studies.
  • Leads derivation/budgeting/allocation of subsystems requirements and interfaces.
  • Leads the preparation of technical documentation.
  • Leads the development effort as a key technical stakeholder of a project or more to meet the functionality, safety, serviceability, quality, cost and reliability targets for platform.
  • Leads subsystem/platform integration (follow up, analysis, problem solving).
  • Defines testing requirements and strategy and drives and approves formal subsystem verification stage.
  • Supports Verification, validation and post validation.
  • Supports post-market activities for the product.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical, Software Physics, Electrical, or Nuclear engineering or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of intensive experience in Systems engineering and/or CT scanner development and process development
  • You have strong technical English communication skills; you are fully capable of reading technical documentation, writing clear commit messages, and actively participating in technical design discussions in English.
  • Experience with requirements management including writing effective requirements and generating specification documents
  • Broad technical knowledge and skills, and deep understanding in at least one of the following fields (Systems/Software/Physics/SW)
  • Demonstrated ability in leading evolution of complex features, where analysis requires both evaluation of multiple candidate solutions and significant evaluation of intangibles
  • Ability to work independently to draw necessary information from a variety of sources in pursuit of a problem solution.
  • Excellent written and communication skills – ability to document and explain complicated problems to non-specialists in a clear and understandable manner.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
