What You Will Do
- Lead the physics simulation team to develop and implement advanced modeling techniques using C/C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency, driving improvements in product offerings.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering department.
- Analyze complex data sets to derive insights that inform decision-making and product development.
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a focus on simulation and modeling.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of software development best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams and driving engineering projects to successful completion.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
Preferred
- Experience in insurance, AI, or environmental technology sectors.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and frameworks relevant to physics modeling.
- A track record of working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $210K to $250K, complemented by a meaningful equity grant, offering significant potential for financial growth as the company continues to expand.
