The Richmond Long Term Care Initiative (LTCI) is looking for a physician to join the LTC team. LTC Richmond physicians are a part of a collegial network of LTC physicians, in addition to their on-site teams (physicians, nursing & allied health, operations with on-site medical coordinator).
The Richmond Division of Family Practice and Vancouver Coastal Health LTC Richmond work collaboratively to ensure LTC physicians are well supported with onsite and off site:
Upon applying and expressing interest in working in Richmond LTC, a member of the team will contact you to offer an orientation to working in Richmond LTC and as well as a tour of Richmond’s recruiting LTC homes.

As per Ministry of Health policy, all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections. Collecting these records will allow for offering of any missing vaccines, and for appropriate actions to be taken in the event of any future exposure to a communicable disease or during outbreaks.
