As a member of the Medical Affairs portfolio, the Physician Recruitment Consultant reports to the Manager, Physician Recruitment and Director of Physician Recruitment and works collaboratively with the Zone Medical Executive Director, the department Chiefs and Site Leads to support the recruitment of physicians to areas of need across Nova Scotia Health.
The incumbent ensures the development of a collaborative and strategic approach to recruitment and retention, resource planning and the privileging and credentialing functions. The Physician Recruitment Consultant leads the development of these activities in a manner consistent with the overall strategic direction of the organization. Valuing teamwork, the consultant works with the Medical Affairs team and local leadership to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with physicians, community and government partners.

Annual Salary: $76,147 - $93,288
