$72,450-$86,900 / Annually + 10% Bonus

*This position requires 4 days onsite in Brentwood, TN.


The Physician Recruiter partners
with the regional Health Services, Human Resources teams and facility Health
Services Administrators and plays a key role in filling high level medical and
dental vacancies throughout CCA. Has
direct involvement with implementing and monitoring cost effective medical recruitment
programs. Primary liaison with local
community and university partnerships for positions in the medical and dental
field. Sources candidates through a
variety of methods, including attending medical specialty conferences,
professional networking and cold-calling to promote CCA as an employer of
choice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The successful applicant should be able to perform ALL of
the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the
actual job performance requirements.

  1. Monitors vacancy rates and implements recruitment strategies to minimize vacancy fines and fill rates.
  2. Works in partnership with the Health Services team to assess hiring cycle processes and ensures consistency in the application of those processes as needed to satisfy OFCCP requirements.
  3. Utilizes creative sourcing to identify qualified candidates for top level medical and dental positions and maintains all documentation to track candidates and sourcing strategies.
  4. Develops and maintains a database of qualified candidates.
  5. Monitors facility applicant flow and recruitment-related issues and ensures proper hiring assessments are being utilized to meet the hiring goals of the Medical Departments.
  6. Provides resources and partners with regional Health Services and facility Human Resources to develop and maintain critical community contacts with colleges and universities in the medical field.
  7. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws governing selection and hiring for all medical positions.
  8. Domestic U.S. travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university
    with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Health Services, Business
    or a related field is required.
  • A
    Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years
    of recruiting or health services experience with two years of medical recruiting
    experience is required.
  • Additional
    experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year
    basis up to two years.
  • Knowledge of
    federal, state and local licensing/certifications for Physicians is required.
  • Should have experience with various recruiting methods, including
    the internet, direct sourcing, networking/referrals, and other cost effective
    sources.
  • Experience with an ATS and HRIS
    is preferred.
  • Must be extremely organized,
    attentive to detail, and able to multi-task while maintaining a professional
    demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft
    Office applications is required.
  • Travel
    is required.
  • A valid driver's
    license is required.
