The Physician Recruiter's primary responsibility is to continually improve the organization's ability to attract, select, and retain highly qualified providers. This position will follow robust recruiting strategies to attract active and passive talent into the organization and will build effective relationships with prospective talent and manage ongoing hiring manager relationships. This position is also responsible for effectively onboarding all providers.
Recruitment
• Develops and maintains working knowledge of the health system and regional communities in order to assist with candidate inquiries.
• Daily outreach to identify and recruit potential candidates to FMOLHS. Includes but not limited to written communication and cold calls. Ensures recruitment databases are being effectively used for recruitment purposes.
• Acts as a contact person to facilitate communication between candidates and FMOLHS to answer questions.
• Assembles and distributes all collateral materials for advanced practice professionals and physician recruitment
• Manages new hire and onboarding process for providers ensuring all new hire paperwork is received and processed accordingly. Engages appropriate stakeholders on the status of credentialing and position acceptance, ensuring all parties are area of status and associated responsibilities.
• Sources and screens all advanced practice provider and physician recruitment candidates for the organization and routes to the hiring manager.
• Maintains and manages open positions and maintains job postings on all applicable sites. Inputs accurate applicant/candidate data reflecting current status of candidate activity, CV, candidate communication and other relevant information into the database. Including but not limited to the development of requisitions, review of applications, review of tasks.
• Meets with operations directors and physician leaders to understand the needs to the clinic/department to help ensure the right candidate is selected.
• Facilitates virtual and onsite visits for the advanced practice providers and physician candidate and family. This may include but is not limited to making arrangements for travel, lodging, meals, and welcome gifts, developing itineraries for the provider and family, and providing transportation, as needed.
• Research potential recruitment programs, evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market, and recommends recruitment strategies.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains excellent relationships with sources of employee referrals (i.e. schools, colleges, universities, professional licensing and state boards, etc). Coordinates recruiting activities, conferences, and visits in order to recruit qualified candidates.
• Coordinates start dates, clearances, credentials verification, onboarding and orientation of new providers. Reviews and verify all pre-employment procedures with candidates (criminal and reference checks, health assessment procedures, tentative start dates, orientation checklist, benefits options, I9) and ensures that all pre-employment paperwork is completed. Verifies any required licenses and certificates and all new hire paperwork prior to employment.
• Works with operations to execute contracts for advanced practice providers and physicians.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required
