Mercy is seeking a forward-thinking Primary Care Physician to join an innovative, wellness-centered care model in Bentonville, Arkansas, serving as a cornerstone provider on a nationally significant campus developed in partnership with the Alice Walton Foundation.

This role extends beyond traditional primary care. The physician will demonstrate executive presence, serve as a key clinical liaison between Mercy and the Alice Walton Foundation, and help advance a next-generation, whole-person model of care designed to influence healthcare delivery well beyond Northwest Arkansas.

This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is energized by innovation, values-based care, and the chance to contribute to system-level transformation while maintaining a meaningful clinical practice.

What we offer:

This role offers a rare opportunity to practice medicine in an environment intentionally designed to support clinical excellence, wellness, and long-term impact.

Physicians will:

  • Contribute to a nationally relevant care model while practicing close to home

  • Participate in academic teaching, research, and innovation
  • Collaborate across disciplines to integrate emotional, spiritual, preventive, and lifestyle care
  • Serve as clinical leaders helping to train the next generation of physicians

At its core, this role is for physicians who want their work to matter — not only to individual patients, but to the future of healthcare delivery.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Eligible for Arkansas medical licensure
  • Demonstrated openness to innovative, wellness-integrated care models
  • Comfort operating in high-visibility, collaborative, and externally partnered environments
  • Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and system-level impact
