We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our multidisciplinary team. In this position you will collaborate with patients, their families, and our multidisciplinary staff to offer specialized consultation and comprehensive care helping our patients achieve optimal functional outcomes, manage pain, and improve quality of life. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety ofmusculoskeletal, neurological, and rehabilitation conditions while collaborating with other healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans.
Working in a multi-specialty environment, you will coordinate closely with other specialties to ensure holistic care. This is a full-time outpatient role, with direct clinical sessions divided between in-person visits, nursing facility visits, video consultations, e-consults, and e-reviews. You may supervise advanced practice providers and serve as an attending physician for learners at various levels.
This position will work closely with the Associate Director of Medical Specialty and take an active leadership role in developing the PM& R program. You will also help design clinical workflows to improve access to care, support evidence-based practices, and enhance efficiency. 10 percent of clinical time will be dedicated to administrative tasks.

Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnostics, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.Prescribes medications, treatment regimens, and other interventions based on the patient’s medical condition.Evaluate and manage patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or pain due to injuries, illnesses, or chronic conditions.Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation and treatment plans focused on decreasing pain, restoring function, and improving patient outcomes.Prescribe physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other non-surgical interventions as appropriate. Provide medication management (both opioid and non-opioid regimens).Deliver a full spectrum of interventional pain management procedures utilizing evidence-based and image-guided techniques. This includes, but is not limited to, spinal interventions (epidural steroid injections, facet injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation), peripheral joint and soft tissue injections, and trigger pointinjections, tailored to the physician’s clinical expertise and patient needsThis includes, but is not limited to, spinal interventions (epidural steroid injections, facet injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation), peripheral joint and soft tissue injections, and trigger point injections, tailored to the physician’s clinical expertise and patient needs.Refers patients to specialists and additional care services as necessary to ensure comprehensive treatment.Utilizes electronic health records (Epic EHR) to document patient interactions, treatment plans, and clinical notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.Educates patients and their families on procedures, home care instructions, and follow-up care requirements.Communicates clearly and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues through various modalities.Demonstrates professional management skills, including planning, organizing, and scheduling work efficiently and productively.Directs and supervises advanced practice providers as required.
May train and supervise medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures, as appropriate.Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.May manage the daily operations of specific medical programs or research initiatives.Participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs.Ensures adherence to departmental policies, safety protocols, quality improvement goals, and infection control standards.Collaborates with clinical and operational leaders to maintain alignment with organizational objectives and foster a team-oriented environment.Contributes to the design and implementation of clinical workflows aimed at improving care access, supporting evidence-based practices, and enhancing efficiency.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
EducationM.D or D.O degree Required andCompletion of an Accredited Residency in PM&R RequiredAndBoard Certification or Board Eligibility (if within 2 years of residency) in PM&R and Pain Medicine RequiredAndACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship
