Qualifications:Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successfulcandidatemust have completeda pediatricsresidency program, as well asan endocrinologyfellowshipprogram. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligibleinpediatric endocrinology Allqualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Our150-bed WVUM Golisano Children’s Hospitalhasa full suite of pediatric operating rooms, cardiac catheterization lab/interventional radiology, and GI-endoscopy with dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff. The hospital includes 34 pediatric beds, 54 NICU beds, 26 PICU beds, Heart Center, and a dedicated Pediatric Blood & CancerCenter.The hospitalisa Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, with plans to become Level 1, as it is for adults currently. There is also a Birthing Center including a 30-bed obstetrical unit and maternal-fetal medicineclinicWVUM Golisano Children’sis the onlyhospital in West Virginia with a pediatric cardiac surgery program, the only epilepsy monitoring unit in the state equipped to serve children, and the only hospital in the state to receive Magnet status for nursing excellence.
