Physician (Pain Management)

Salary: $124,308 - $400,000 per year

Responsibilities

Duties

  • Responsible for the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who are referred primarily for comprehensive pain management and/or a functional restoration program in an outpatient setting and/or in an inpatient setting.
  • Implement integrative treatments such as acupuncture, manual medicine, nutritional and lifestyle advice, other complementary and alternative medicine methods, etc., within recognized professional practice parameters.
  • Serve as a specialty consultant to other departments, services, and health-care providers for a variety of diseases and conditions marked by acute and chronic pain.
  • Order, collect, and perform appropriate laboratory or diagnostic procedures and studies including, but not limited to, urine, blood, and tissue specimens.
  • Oversee, teach, lecture, mentor, and provide consultation to other health care providers (nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, medical students, interns, residents, and fellows).
  • Perform a full spectrum of interventional pain procedures such as epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, sympathetic blocks etc. utilizing fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.

Board Certified in Pain Management/Physical Med and Rehabilitation,Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Psychiatry with pain fellowship

Candidates must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
