Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders involving:
• Ear, nose, and throat
• Sinus and allergy conditions
• Hearing and balance disorders
• Sleep-related breathing disorders
• Head and neck pathology
- Perform a full scope of ENT surgical procedures including, but not limited to:
• Endoscopic sinus surgery
• Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy
• Tympanoplasty and mastoid surgery
• Septoplasty and rhinoplasty
• Procedures for sleep apnea (e.g., tonsillar reduction, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty)
- Utilize OR block time at multiple locations to support surgical volume
- Collaborate effectively with primary care, audiology, pulmonology, speech therapy, and other specialties
- Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and shared call coverage
- Document clinical care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Contribute to service line growth, quality improvement, and patient experience initiatives
Practice Expectations
- Immediate access to patient referrals and ambulatory flow supporting a busy practice
- Balanced schedule with a mix of:
• High-volume clinic sessions
• Dedicated surgical block time
- Practice across multiple Independence Health sites based on clinical demand
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Eligibility for full PA medical licensure
- DEA registration
- Strong surgical skill set and ability to manage complex ENT cases
- Excellent patient communication and team collaboration
Preferred Experience
- Experience in high-volume clinical settings - Proven ability to efficiently manage surgical block time - Interest in expanding procedural practice lines - Engagement in multidisciplinary clinical care
