Supports the financial health of our organization by engaging with patients regarding their accounts, facilitating payment arrangements, and ensuring timely document delivery between clinics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The employee is required to comply with all PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) standards and other company policies and procedures for payment card acceptance and security.
- Contact patients to discuss outstanding balances and collect payments
- Establish and manage payment plans in accordance with policy and patient ability.
- Respond to incoming patient calls with professionalism and empathy, addressing billing questions and concerns.
- Transport necessary paperwork between clinic locations to support timely processing and documentation along with delivering bank deposits.
- Accurately record patient interactions, payment agreements, and courier activity in the system.
- Work closely with supervisor, lead and billing/coding teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

QualificationsEducation/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent (GED). Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, & Outlook). Must have a current driver’s license.
Experience: Two years medical staff office preferred
Equipment/Technology: Strong computer skills a must.
Language/Communication: Strong communication skills needed.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concept of basic algebra and geometry.
Mental Capabilities: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Interpersonal: Ability to work well with others.
