Sentara Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join a highly respected, collaborative practice in the Shenandoah Valley community of Harrisonburg, Virginia. Based at the Sentara RMH Hahn Oncology Center, this opportunity offers the chance to practice high-quality, patient-centered oncology in a supportive and collegial environment.
Our team is deeply committed to delivering comprehensive cancer care that is innovative, compassionate, and tailored to each patient’s needs, while continuing to advance oncology services throughout the region. The practice includes a dedicated group of 7 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner who provides personalized, evidence-based care in a modern setting designed to support both patients and providers.
Physicians enjoy access to the latest treatment protocols ensuring patients receive advanced care while allowing providers to remain engaged at the forefront of oncology.
Position Highlights:
Comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care within a high-volume, well-established practice
Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., supporting excellent work-life balance, including one dedicated administrative day per week
Primarily outpatient, ambulatory clinic with minimal inpatient consults (<10%)
Shared call schedule with a collegial and supportive physician group
Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
