Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a qualified Gynecologic Oncologist The successful candidate would join a five-member Division of Gynecologic Oncology.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has four residency training programs within Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan as well as accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine and Gynecologic Oncology Fellowships. The Gynecologic Oncology division is growing significantly with services offered at the following campuses: Royal Oak, Dearborn, Troy, and planned expansion to Grosse Pointe, and Farmington Hills. The division is supported by full-time office managers, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, medical assistants, and additional front office staff.

The physician will provide counseling, diagnosis, treatment and follow up services related to gynecologic cancers and join a Team that is committed to providing the most up to date surgical and medical treatments. Furthermore, the physician will be involved in the teaching of medical students, Residents and Fellows.

Qualifications:

  • BC OB/Gyn
  • Interest in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Unrestricted License - Michigan MD/DO
  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a persuasive communicator who is empathetic and a respectful listener who can create an atmosphere that allows individuals to flourish within the context of the department.
