Practice at McKinleyville Community Health Center – Open Door Community Health Centers

The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered outpatient care for a panel of patients across the lifespan in a rural Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting. Practicing to the full extent of their training and scope, the physician diagnoses, treats, and manages acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasizes preventive care, and coordinates specialty services when needed. Working as part of an interdisciplinary care team, the physician plays a critical role in improving access to high-quality healthcare for an underserved rural community, helping patients receive timely, comprehensive care close to home and reducing the need to travel outside the region for essential medical services.

Providers build meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients, supporting continuity and access to care across the community.
