Job Description
Job Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124This position is responsible for providing comprehensive patient medical and surgical care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and quality. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with guidelines and standards of practice established by the Chief Medical Officer and WHA, The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.
•Provide high-quality patient care by delivering compassionate, patient-centered inpatient and outpatient obstetrics/gynecology, including preventive, diagnostic, medical, and surgical care.
•Build and sustain a patient panel consistent with assigned FTE status.
•Perform office based and surgery center-based procedures within scope of licensure, exercising sound judgment, technical skill, and adaptability in clinical setting.
•Apply Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving by assessing patient needs, gather and analyze clinical data, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes while maintaining focus under varying conditions.
•Demonstrate strong listening, oral, and written communication skills with patients, families, colleagues, and staff.
•Maintain board certification, complete continuing education and continuous learning, and participate in privileging, recertification, and quality improvement initiatives.
•Collaborate with colleagues, attend required meetings, support WHA performance objectives, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
•Model WHA’s values, demonstrate safe work practices, resolve conflicts constructively, and maintain conduct that reflects positively on the organization and community.
•Demonstrate Reliability and Adaptability and respond effectively to emergencies or changes in workload and consistently strive to meet or exceed patient expectations.
Qualifications•Medical degree from an accredited program.
•Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
•Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Oregon without restriction or qualification.
•Completion of an ACGME OB/GYN residency program.
•Valid Drug Enforcement Administration certificate.
•Medical staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges, in the judgment of WHA, in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
•Meets all criteria required of participating physicians in health plans and government health programs designated by WHA.
•Insurable by malpractice carrier for WHA in minimum amounts required by WHA.
