The Physician Assistant (PA) will function as a primary health care provider in the Primary Care setting. The PA utilizes the nursing process as a framework for managing patient care. Utilizing advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, the nurse practitioner works independently and in collaboration and consultation with physicians and other health care providers. The Physician Assistant managers acute and chronic conditions, provides care including comprehensive assessment, ordering of interventions, conduction and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications and providing treatments and therapies of a non-pharmacologic nature.

Requirements:

• Demonstrates ability to meet performance criteria listed
• Grate from accredited Physician Assistant program and NCCPA board certified.
• Maintains appropriat medical staff affiliation.
• Licensure or Certification:
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in Wisconsin.
• Accredited Physician Assistant degree.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
