Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus

We are seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Greeley, Colorado. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

You’ll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real-time guidance and mentorship. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low-acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without inpatient follow-up responsibilities.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound management
Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
Code and bill services appropriately
Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
Active, unrestricted Colorado license as an NP or PA
NP: FNP certification (ANCC or AANP required)
PA: NCCPA certification required
Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Ability to treat patients of all ages
Active BLS certification
EHR proficiency
Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
