F.F. Thompson Hospital has designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Magnet® hospital and from the state as a Stroke Center. Quality designations from the Joint Commission include Certificates of Distinction in Knee Replacement and Hip Replacement, Orthopedic Rehabilitation Certification and Advanced Perinatal Certification. Thompson was also the first hospital in New York to be named a Center of Excellence in Hernia Surgery™ by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC).
