Physician Assistant – Emergency Department (Full-Time)

As an Emergency Department Physician Assistant, you will participate in all aspects of emergency care, including:

• Patient assessment, triage, and management
• Emergency resuscitation and stabilization
• Fast Track evaluation and treatment
• Performing emergency procedures, including:
  • Intubation
  • Chest tube insertion
  • Central venous line placement
  • Other advanced bedside procedures
• Development and implementation of treatment plans
• Patient education and discharge planning
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

This is a full-time, rotating shift position that includes days, evenings, nights, and up to two weekends per month.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience as a Physician Assistant
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current New York State Physician Assistant License
• Current NCCPA Certification
• Current ACLS and BLS Certifications
• New York State Infection Control Certification
