YesGeisinger's Heart & Vascular Surgery is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Vascular Surgery Department at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Job Duties:
The vascular surgery Advanced Practitioner will join a dedicated team of vascular surgeons and physician assistants and nurse practitioner at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
This practice is a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, some first assist OR time and weekend and night call.
The successful Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-approved physician assistant program, eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine.
The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners and must be eligible for or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Must be certified to work with all patient population age groups.
