Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Physician Assistant for Orthopedic Surgery in Wayne, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join AMG Orthopedics at Wayne. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable PA to collaborate with our supportive and well-established orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in surgical orthopedics and 1-2 years of experience in orthopedics, spine, or PM&R.

The PA should possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while also demonstrating effective teamwork skills. The primary responsibilities of the PA will involve assisting in orthopedic surgical cases, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient setting, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care. There is a possibility of travel to other sites in the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• Must be certified by the National Board of Certification of Orthopaedic Physician’s Assistants
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Open to new PA-C graduates
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred
• OR experience preferred
• Flexibility to travel to multiple sites
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
