Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, self-directed team player to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers.  Demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.  Service excellence and quality are part of our mission and values.  As a team member, you will be expected to consistently deliver the best in care and customer service. Responsibilities:
  • In the office clinic setting, the Physician Assistant (PA-C) will have independent clinics, seeing about 20 patients per day.
  • Responsible to perform histories and physical exams, evaluates, new, established and post-procedure and post-op patients
  • Orders, and interprets diagnostic studies and initiate therapeutic treatment plans.
  • Provide timely and complete clinical documentation in the EHR following patient visits or telephone Maintain ongoing communication with physicians regarding assigned patients and provide timely notification of changes in patient status
  • Maintain ongoing communication with other members of the care team through written documentation, telephone or in-person conversation
  • Ensure timely access of patient appointments
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), or its predecessors.
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
  • Current California State Licensed Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • DEA license required.
  • 2 years PA experience required 
  • Spine experience preferred
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required
  • Experience and proficiency in electronic medical records, Cerner experience a plus.
Annual salary range: $112,112.00 - $ 118,323.00  #LI-CS1
