Physical Therapy Technician/Patient Services Coordinator

The Jordan Young Institute is recruiting for a Physical Therapy Hybrid Technician.

What you will do:

• Monitoring the schedule
• Answering incoming calls
• Making appointments
• Taking payments
• Checking patients in
• Scheduling pre and post op therapy
• Maintaining treatment areas
• Helping Therapists facilitate patients including but not limited to
• Cleaning tables, equipment, and facilities
• Helping run patients through exercises as directed by therapists.
• Assist with setting patients up on modalities including heat and ice.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment.
• Assist with ordering equipment and supplies for therapists.
• Will act as a float to support our two current locations and to assist with coverage for pre-planned time-off or callouts.
• Cross train in various rolls in the clinic to provide a cohesive team approach.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations, and medical office procedures.
• Organizational and multitasking skills.
• Appearance, behavior, and communication skills must promote excellent customer service.
• Upholds HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to adjust to changing situations.
• Have a passion for patient care, customer service, and personal growth.
