FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is seeking a dependable, energetic, and patient-focused Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to join our Bristol team part-time.

In this role, you'll help keep the clinic running smoothly while supporting our Physical Therapists and patients throughout the day. You'll have the opportunity to observe patient care, learn more about rehabilitation, and gain experience that can be especially valuable for students or individuals considering a future career in healthcare.

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapy Technician, you'll play an important role in creating a positive and organized experience for our patients and clinical team. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare treatment areas for patient appointments
• Escort patients to treatment areas and assist with clinic flow
• Help patients safely get on and off therapy and exercise equipment
• Assist with exercises and equipment as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Set up, organize, and put away therapy equipment
• Clean and disinfect treatment tables, equipment, and patient areas
• Assist with patient preparation before treatment sessions
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming clinic environment
• Monitor supplies and assist with inventory
• Complete laundry and linen duties as needed
• Report equipment or maintenance concerns to the appropriate team member
• Provide occasional scheduling and front desk support as needed
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College coursework in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Biology, or a related healthcare field preferred
• Interest in physical therapy or another healthcare profession is a plus
• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to multitask
• Comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with equipment setup
