This is a great opportunity for someone interested in physical therapy, exercise science, kinesiology, or another healthcare-related field who wants to gain valuable hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

As a Physical Therapy Technician, you'll work alongside physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to help patients through their rehabilitation journey while keeping the clinic running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities under the direction of a physical therapist.
• Help patients safely use therapy equipment and demonstrate proper exercise techniques.
• Prepare treatment areas and set up equipment for patient appointments.
• Assist with therapeutic treatments, including heat/cold packs and other modalities as directed.
• Greet patients, assist with check-ins, and help create a welcoming environment.
• Monitor patient safety and communicate concerns to the therapy team.
• Clean, sanitize, and organize treatment areas and equipment.
• Help maintain patient records, track supplies, and support daily clinic operations.
• Assist therapists with scheduling, documentation, and other administrative tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Previous healthcare or patient care experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.
• Ability to multitask and work in a busy clinical environment.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable assisting patients with exercises, mobility, and transfers.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises and safely handle therapy equipment.
