
Are you a PTA who wants to do more than the standard outpatient or hospital setting? Home of the Innocents is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver specialized physical therapy services to children and young adults at the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center (KCPCC). In this one-of-a-kind role, you’ll work with a medically complex pediatric population, collaborate with an expert interdisciplinary team, and help children reach their highest level of function and quality of life, every single day.
A Day in the Life
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments to pediatric and young adult residents under the direction of the Lead Physical Therapist and in accordance with physician orders. You’ll collaborate with OT, Speech Therapy, the Wheelchair and Adaptive Equipment Manager, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, resident-centered rehabilitation and habilitation services.
Schedule: 32-hour position. Flexible hours to meet resident therapy needs, including early mornings and/or later afternoons. Must be available Fridays for department coverage. On-site.
