The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with members and with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of care and coordination, enabling participants to maximize their own independence and ensure increased qualities of life. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
This role is highly hands-on and requires a patient, hardworking and dedicated professional, with a strong desire to help the LIFE Center’s members maintain their independence and quality of life. All candidates must be licensed Physical Therapy Assistants in Pennsylvania, and be committed to the coursework/workshops required to maintain licensing. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year’s experience working in a PTA role, specifically in an elderly/geriatric capacity that would ensure a high level of clinical competency. A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license is also required to be considered for this position.

It is an innovative model of care for seniors 55 years of age and older who are eligible for Medicare and Medical Assistance or able to pay privately, and who are medically eligible.
We enable seniors to maintain both their quality of life and their independence by providing a wide array of support services designed to help them address their personal, physical and social needs. We serve the healthcare needs of medically eligible seniors living at home.
