Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Part-Time or Full-Time | Cynergy Rehab Group

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide skilled, individualized care to adults in a supportive, community-based setting.

Setting: Outpatient Pediatrics, School-Based

Schedule: Part-time or full-time opportunities available

License Requirement: Active PTA license

Your Role in Action

This is a dynamic, relationship-driven role where you’ll spend your day working closely with adult participants in both individual and small group settings. You’ll play a key role in helping clients maintain mobility, prevent decline, and stay as independent as possible.

In this role, you will:

• Provide physical therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Document treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations.
• Assist children in developing gross motor skills, balance, coordination, mobility, strength, and endurance.
• Educate families, caregivers, and school personnel on strategies to support student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to coordinated care planning.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, school district, and company regulations.
• Support students in accessing their educational environment and participating in school activities.
