What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you'll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents restore function, improve mobility, and maximize independence.
Responsibilities include:
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments based on individualized care plans
Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence
Monitor resident progress and communicate updates with the therapy team
Document treatments and resident outcomes accurately and timely
Educate residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies
Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional patient-centered care
Qualifications
Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (or eligibility for licensure)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for rehabilitation and resident-centered care
Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset
