We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care that helps residents improve mobility, strength, and functional independence!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled treatment interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care
• Accurately document patient progress using an electronic medical record system
• Monitor and report patient status changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility tasks
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Maintain productivity expectations while delivering exceptional quality of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated services
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Strong understanding of therapy techniques and documentation standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach

Preferred:

• Experience working with geriatric populations
• Experience in assisted living or post-acute care settings
