Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Physical Therapist to provide direct physical therapy services according to the Physician's plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, restore function, and maximize patient performance.
• Assist patients with active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
• Utilize physical agents such as heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage in treatments.
• Observe and report patient reactions to treatment and any changes in their condition to the Physical Therapist and the organization’s personnel.
• Instruct patients in the use and care of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.
• Complete online charting in Kinnser immediately after each visit using a provided device.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• • Current (PTA) Physical Therapy Assistant License to practice in California
  • Current CA Driver's License (with clean driving record) and Valid Automobile Insurance
  • You are able to travel within a 15 to 25-mile radius on a regular basis
  • Priority to candidates with Availability Saturday-Monday or Wednesday-Sunday
