A Physical Therapy Aide supports Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants with the planning and implementation of patient care. They provide administrative support and provide assistance in patient care based upon a Physical Therapist’s order after a total assessment and written evaluation is completed that is appropriate for the patient’s need and medical condition. The PT Aide will provide such treatment in compliance with the company’s Policies and Procedures, and supports the clinic’s commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement. The PT Aide will administer care appropriate to the age of the patients whose relatively significant population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Education/Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, kinesiology, or related field preferred, but not required. Experience in a prior physical therapy clinic helpful.
