As a Physical Therapy Technician, you'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists and the rehabilitation team to support patients throughout their treatment. You'll help patients complete their prescribed exercises, maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, and provide the encouragement and support that helps patients stay engaged in their recovery.

This is a part-time position working approximately 20–25 hours per week.

What You'll Do

As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will:

  • Assist patients with their exercise programs according to an established treatment plan under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Guide and assist patients as they move between exercise equipment and throughout the treatment gym
  • Monitor patients during exercises and communicate observations or concerns to the treating Physical Therapist
  • Help document patient progress during exercises and treatment activities
  • Clean and prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after each patient's session
  • Change and launder patient towels and pillowcases as needed
  • Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming treatment environment
  • Answer phones and assist with scheduling patient appointments as needed
  • Order, receive, stock, and maintain clinical supplies
  • Support the Physical Therapy team with other duties as needed

Requirements

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with patients and clinical team members
  • Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Previous outpatient or healthcare experience
  • Experience working with patients or providing direct patient support
  • Coursework or education in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, or a related field
  • Interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy or another healthcare profession
