Adelphi is seeking a qualified Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide school physical therapy services in a school setting in San Antonio, Texas . Responsibilities: • Assess students with physical disabilities and determine eligibility for physical therapy services. • Plan and provide direct physical therapy services consistent with students' Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. • Provide consultative physical therapy services to support student participation in the educational program. • Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of physical therapy services. • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee meetings to assist with assessment interpretation, placement, and goal setting. • Provide training and in-service education to school personnel regarding physical therapy programs, body mechanics, student handling, positioning, and related topics. • Consult with educational staff regarding specialized equipment, materials, and physical therapy needs. • Coordinate with families, district personnel, outside agencies, therapists, and medical professionals regarding student physical and medical needs. • Maintain accurate physical therapy records, reports, evaluations, and other required documentation while protecting confidentiality. • Comply with federal and state requirements, State Board of Education rules, District policies, campus procedures, and applicable professional standards. • Any other duties as assigned.
