Rotating ShiftA physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation, comprehensive treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients with medical, surgical, neurological, cardiopulmonary or functional disorders.

*New grads with acute care experience or clinical affiliation exposure encouraged to apply.*
Provides supervision for Physical Therapy Assistants, PMR technicians, students and volunteers as required.
Maintains safe/orderly working environment for patients and staff.
Adheres to the code of ethics of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Practice Act of the Commonwealth of PA.
Develops a comprehensive plan of care and provides treatment with appropriate and effective techniques to achieve established goals with an emphasis on functional status
Assumes accountability for managing the delivery of patient care.
Interprets and utilizes clinical data in the treatment plan.
Prioritizes and organizes work assignment and adjust priorities based on changing situations.
Consistently assesses and modifies approach, communication, care, activities, etc. to reflect the needs of patient based on age, cultural diversity and developmental level.
Acts as a patient advocate and uphold patients’ rights.
Participates in program development activities, as assigned, and under the direction of the Lead/ Manager.
Performs as a Clinical instructor when necessary.
Confers with physicians/team members regarding change in the treatment plan as needed.
Collaborates with patient/significant others when establishing goals and treatment plan.
Participates in the orientation and training of other healthcare team members
Incorporates education into daily patient activity, and individualizes educational plan based on patient's needs.
Participates in continuing education to stay abreast of new research and to fulfill credentialing requirement.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current State PT license, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Bachelor's Degree required
Wheelchair seating recommendation experience a plus
