At Candor, we’re not just a company—we’re a mission-driven community of educators passionate about making a real difference. Here, your expertise isn’t just appreciated—it’s celebrated. We believe you can serve students meaningfully without sacrificing your work-life balance. Join a supportive team where your growth, well-being, and success take center stage.

What We’re Looking For:

Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist ready to make a difference in education? Here’s what you’ll need to join our team:

  • Education: Master's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent.

Your Role:

As a school-based Physical Therapist, you’ll play a key role in helping students improve their mobility, access their educational environment, and achieve greater independence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tools, observations, and student-centered assessments to determine the need for specialized services in alignment with Texas education standards.

  • Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents, educators, and district personnel, offering clear, actionable recommendations that promote students’ access to education and functional independence.

  • Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to design evidence-based, individualized therapeutic interventions that address student-specific needs, support functional goals, and enhance participation in the educational environment.

  • Provide Therapy: Deliver direct therapy services or supervise licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in implementing IEP goals.

  • Monitor Progress: Collect, analyze, and document student progress data, maintaining detailed and accurate records that inform IEP reviews and ongoing service planning.

  • Support Teams: Actively participate in ARD meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students and contribute to the enhancement of special education programs.

Your expertise will directly impact students’ ability to thrive in their educational environment and beyond.
