As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize various treatments to help patients increase strength, range of motion, endurance and coordination. Because this position requires close physical interaction, you have the unique opportunity to develop strong patient relationships. The ideal Physical Therapist is a highly skilled and adaptable professional dedicated to restoring function, improving mobility and enhancing patient outcomes. This individual demonstrates strong critical thinking skills in evaluating and developing treatment plans while effectively collaborating with physicians, co-workers and support staff. They excel in prioritizing patient care, ensuring safety awareness/patient safety and adapting techniques to provide individualized care. Often, patients are dealing with pain, so sensitivity is essential. Equally important is giving patients the drive and support they need to work hard and regain their health.
This opening covers Akron area outpatient locations including: Green Health & Wellness, Bath Health & Wellness, Stow Health & Wellness, Tallmadge, Lakemore and our Akron General Rehab & Sports Therapy location on White Pond Drive.
A PRN caregiver in this position works varying shifts, Monday-Friday, between 7:00AM – 7:30PM, with 1 late day until 6:30pm and 1 late day until 7pm. Hours will vary based on clinic need.
