About Us - Physical Therapy
Physical therapists help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disability for any patient suffering from injury or disease
Therapy focuses on improving function, strength, balance and coordination with a goal of improving, restoring or maintaining how an individual functions at work and at home
Freeman therapists also teach patients to use assistive and adaptive devices, such as crutches, prostheses and wheelchairs
What You’ll Do
Independently evaluates patients, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers/documents care, and provides D/C planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, State/National regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures.
Requirements
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice.
