MSU Health Care is seeking a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our team. The candidate must be a compassionate, trauma-informed and dedicated provider with excellent communication skills. They must also be willing to collaborate with other providers and specialties and have the ability to work well with a close-knit team. Specialized experience and training in evaluating and treating pelvic floor dysfunctions are desired.
Strong emphasis on continued learning, including therapist mentorship, educational in-services, lunch and learns, article reviews and continuing education.
Would prefer one year of experience treating pelvic health conditions but would be willing to discuss mentorship and gradual increasing pelvic health caseload for the right individual.
Experience in other specialties, including orthopedics, would be helpful.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Physical Therapy; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in providing physical therapy treatments; may require orthopedic experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and possession of a valid State of Michigan Physical Therapy license.
