Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide services within our Montgomery County preschool special education program and in community-based Early Intervention (EI 0–2) services.
The Physical Therapist will:
Provide therapy services to support children’s gross motor development, mobility, strength, and participation in educational and daily activities.
Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals, as appropriate.
Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and caregiver coaching across center-based and community settings.
Monitor and document progress toward therapy goals and adjust interventions based on data and developmental needs.
Collaborate with teachers, service coordinators, families, and other related service providers to ensure coordinated supports.
Participate on IEP and IFSP teams as needed, providing input on motor development and adaptive equipment.
This position follows either a school-year calendar with summer opportunities or a year-round calendar depending on program needs, and may consist of full-time or part-time hours.
Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License required.
Pediatric or early childhood experience preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and family engagement skills.
Ability to work effectively in both center-based and community/home settings.
