Reporting to the Manager, the Physical Therapist - Degree is responsible for participating in program planning, development, organization, and delivery of therapy services within the framework of the interdisciplinary team. This will be done in accordance with the Saskatchewan Health Authority mission statement and Therapy Department statement of purpose, policies and procedures of the facility and department.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy

Other Education and Training

• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

• Initiative & judgment to plan implement/modify treatment programs for clients
• Ability to collect, record, report comprehensive client information accurately
• Ability to report client information in accordance with professional standards
• Ability to integrate ideas into a team treatment approach
• Requires coping skills to work w/clients dealing with stress/psychosocial issues
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions
• Requires concentration and attention for treatment, teaching and report writing
• Ability to plan, organize/coordinate efforts with other team members

• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)
• This position will be moving to Market Mall in Fall 2026
