Physical Therapist-Children's of Mississippi-PRNProvide physical therapy services to individuals experiencing impairments, functional limitations, or changes in physical function and health due to injury, disease, or other causes. Focus on improving functional outcomes and overall quality of life. Provide education to other medical professionals and provide prevention and wellness services including screenings and health promotions.
Certifications, Licenses or Registrationrequired
Physical Therapist from the Mississippi Board of Physical Therapy required by the hire date.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating physical dysfunctions, as well as knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Skilled in performing manual physical therapy treatment programs, with the ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and patient progress. Able to instruct and motivate patients, and to safely lift and physically manipulate them when necessary.
