Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across our outpatient and inpatient settings. This role focuses on implementing treatment plans established by Physical Therapists, progressing patients through their rehabilitation programs, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. PTAs work independently in delivering care while collaborating closely with supervising Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Treatment
- Deliver 1:1 treatment sessions following plans of care established by Physical Therapists
- Progress therapeutic exercises and interventions based on patient response and tolerance
- Treat a diverse caseload including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions
Collaboration & Communication
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Communicate patient progress, concerns, and recommendations for care progression
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and case managers
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Record treatments, patient responses, and progress toward goals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and plan-of-care requirements
Professional Growth
- Participate in mentorship and onboarding programs
- Engage in continuing education and development opportunities
- Contribute to a positive team culture and department initiatives
Scheduling & Workflow
- Flexible scheduling options (4x10s or 5x8s)
- No holiday rotation required
- Opportunities across outpatient and inpatient settings
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (or eligible) in Wisconsin
- Any experience-level encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently within established plans of care
- Experience with Epic or similar EMR preferred
Performance Expectations
- Deliver consistent, high-quality care with a full patient load
- Communicate effectively with supervising Physical Therapists
- Maintain accurate documentation and support care coordination
- Contribute to team collaboration and patient satisfaction
