Job Description

Pediatric Partners, a part of the Sevita family, provides comprehensive in-home and clinic-based therapeutic services for children and young adults. Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Are you an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant looking for rewarding work in a team-based environment dedicated to positively impacting others? Join our team and provide essential physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists. We are hiring part-time, full-time, and PRN staff for our Irving, Richardson, and Carrollton, TX locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, massage, mobilization, and gait training.
• Assist patients in improving functional activities and teach them to use mobility aids like canes, crutches, and walkers.
• Measure and document patient progress (ROM, vital signs, MMT) to support the treatment plan.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to modify and coordinate patient care and treatment.
• Ensure adherence to professional standards, ethics, and confidentiality.
• Maintain and assess PT equipment for proper function and safety.
Qualifications:
• Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited college
• One year of experience in human services or a related field.
• Must have a current PTA license in Texas.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, equipment, and therapeutic exercises.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and caring with strong multitasking abilities.
