Position Type: Full Time, The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy services to pediatric patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA implements established plans of care, facilitates the development of functional mobility, strength, endurance, balance, and motor skills, and supports participation in daily activities to promote independence, safety, and quality of life. This position collaborates with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to achieve individualized rehabilitation goals and optimize patient outcomes within the Pediatric Medical Rehabilitation Unit (PMRU).
