Physical Therapist Assistant (Traumatic Brain Injury)

We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant in Palm Harbor, Florida, to treat patients with traumatic brain injuries.

The Position: Our Client is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant. While TBI experience is a plus, it's not required—we welcome eager learners. They are offering the following compensation and benefits:

Job Responsibilities

• Monday-Thursday - 7:45 AM to 6 PM
• Friday 8 AM to 1 PM
• Directly deliver and monitoring patient rehabilitation under the guidance of a physical therapist.
• Instruct patients through targeted exercise programs.
• Administer specialized therapeutic modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout every session.
• Maintain meticulous, compliant clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on home care and recovery strategies.
• Manage equipment upkeep.
• 100% Outpatient Opportunity

Requirements

• Active Florida PTA License
• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.
• TBI Experience Helpful But Not Required. New Grads Welcome
• Excellent communication skills to work with patients and healthcare teams.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physical therapy principles.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and modify treatments based on feedback from the physical therapist.
• Patience and empathy when dealing with patients.
• Prior experience in personal injury preferred.
• Knowledge/experience treating patients with TBIs preferred.
