Job Description

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to work alongside our Rehabilitation Services Department.

The PT is to provide high quality physical therapy services following standards of practice and laws set by the hospital, professional association, and federal, state and local governments. The therapist evaluates the need for, and implements physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of function. Also, the therapist has a role in wellness or injury prevention programs for specific patient groups. The therapist may attend ward rounds, discharge planning, evaluation clinics, in-service training, staff meetings or other professional meetings. Also, supervises and assists in training students, assistants or volunteers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required - Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, with a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed to practice physical therapy in West Virginia.
