Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Muskegon, Michigan 49442 — On-site

Pay: $51.76 per hour

Shift: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week

Note: Non-local candidates only. Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a contract position in Muskegon, Michigan. The PT will evaluate and treat patients across a range of orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical diagnoses, developing individualized treatment plans to restore function and improve quality of life. This is a day shift role in an inpatient or outpatient hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and support staff as applicable
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Requirements

• Active PT license in Michigan or eligibility for licensure
• Graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy program (DPT preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical PT experience preferred
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
