Physical Therapist (Acute Care)

Location: Abilene, TX
Salary: $80,000 - $91,000 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $17,500
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for applicants relocating 200+ miles away
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (7:30 AM 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care team. In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team. You'll also supervise and delegate tasks to licensed physical therapist assistants, technicians, and other support staff. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on physical therapy principles and practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to assistants, technicians, and support staff while monitoring their performance.
• Accurately input data into computer systems and maintain thorough documentation.
• Ensure proper use of rehabilitation equipment to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas (or eligibility for licensure).
• BLS certification (required before initiating patient contact).
• Valid Texas Drivers License (for individuals designated as drivers per policy).
• Skills:
• Proficiency in rehabilitation equipment usage.
• Ability to input data into computer programs accurately.
